Step 3: Dehydration
After washing, the plastic pieces still contain water. The third step is to feed the plastic into plastic drying machine. Using hot air, the dryer evaporates the water to bring the plastic to the proper moisture content. Ensuring that the plastic is dry, as too high a moisture content may affect pelletizing results.
Step 4: Plastic pelletizing

Step 5: Cooling
After initial pelletizing, the plastic lengths are still at a high temperature. The fifth step is to feed the plastic lengths into a cooling tank. The cooling tank is filled with cooling water or other cooling medium, which quickly reduces the temperature of the plastic strip and solidifies it. The cooling process also helps to improve the density and quality of the pellets.
Step 6: Cutting and storage
Finally, the cooled plastic strips are fed into the plastic pellet cutting machine.
