Recently, we delivered a rubber powder making machine production line to a customer in Canada. The project focuses on recycling waste tires with a diameter of less than 1200 mm and processing them into rubber powder for manufacturing rubber floor tiles. In addition to the rubber powder production line, we also provide a rubber tile molding machine to support the customer’s downstream production.
This case introduces the customer’s requirements, equipment configuration, and overall solution.
Project Background
The customer is based in Canada and specializes in recycling passenger and truck tires (≤1200 mm). Their goal is to process waste tires into high-quality rubber powder, which will then be used to produce rubber floor tiles for construction and outdoor applications.
After several rounds of detailed communication, we recommended a 400-type fully automatic rubber powder making machine, considering the customer’s raw material size, required output, and end-product application.
Raw Material and End Product
Raw Material:
- Waste car and truck tires
- Diameter less than 1200 mm
Final Product:
- Rubber powder
- Used for producing rubber floor tiles
The produced rubber powder will be directly supplied to the rubber tile molding machine for further processing into finished rubber tiles.

Pre-Treatment Equipment Configuration
Before entering the automatic rubber powder production line, the tires go through a pre-treatment stage to improve efficiency and protect downstream equipment.
1. Tire Ring Cutting & Strip Cutting Integrated Machine
This tire sidewall remover and cutter machine cuts the sidewalls and divides the tire into manageable sections, making it easier for subsequent processing.

2. Steel Wire Separator
The tire steel wire separator removes the steel ring from the tire, reducing wear on the shredding and grinding equipment and improving overall system stability.
These two pre-treatment machines ensure that the material is properly prepared before entering the main production line.

400-Type Fully Automatic Rubber Powder Making Machine Line
After pre-treatment, the material enters the fully automatic production line, which includes the following main equipment:
1. Tire Shredder
The tire shredding machine reduces the tire pieces into smaller rubber blocks. This step ensures consistent feeding into the grinding system.

2. Rubber Powder Machine
The rubber powder making machine is the core part of the line and includes:
- Grinding system – further reduces rubber blocks into fine rubber powder
- Screening system – separates qualified powder from oversized particles
- Magnetic separation system – removes residual steel wire
This integrated system ensures stable output and consistent rubber powder quality.

3. Fiber Separator
The fiber separator removes nylon and other fiber impurities from the rubber powder, improving purity and making the material suitable for rubber floor tile production.

Supporting Equipment: Rubber Tile Molding Machine
To help the customer complete the production chain, we also supply a rubber tile molding machine. The cleaned rubber powder is mixed with binder and pigments, then pressed and formed into rubber floor tiles.
This integrated solution allows the customer to convert waste tires into value-added rubber products.

Project Outcome
The 400-type rubber powder making machine line was successfully shipped to Canada and installed according to the agreed configuration. The equipment is designed for stable operation and continuous production, meeting the customer’s recycling and manufacturing needs.
Through this project, the Canadian customer is able to:
- Recycle waste tires below 1200 mm
- Produce rubber powder with stable quality
- Manufacture rubber floor tiles with their own production equipment
