EPE (Expanded Polyethylene) is a soft material, therefore EPE granulators are equipped with a feeding system with a cutting device. Waste EPE material can be fed directly into the pelletizer through the cutting device and subsequently heated and melted to form recycled pellets. This direct feed simplifies the process and increases productivity. The processing of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), on the other hand, is a bit more complicated. Since EPS is a hard material, it first needs to be crushed into small pieces using a specialized shredder.
